About Joshua Hardage

Joshua Hardage, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at OU Health. Dr. Hardage also serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences in Oklahoma City. 

Dr. Hardage earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma Department of Internal Medicine, also in Oklahoma City. His undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where he graduated with highest academic achievement. 

Dr. Hardage participates in professional organizations such as the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and Oklahoma State Medical Association. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Hardage is involved in mentoring residents, volunteering at OKC Medical Clinics for the Uninsured and has served on the ECU Alumni Association Board of Directors as Finance Committee Chair.

    The doctor asked many questions and explained possible reasons for my issues. He offered a treatment plan starting with the easiest and most likely cause. He also said if that medication wasn't effective, we could do a scan or xray to pursue other possible causes.

    Dr Hardage was engaging without being focused on data entry on the computer, very refreshing how he balanced everything. Liked his philosophy and approach. Feel like a partner in my health. Very pleased.
