About Jonathan Day
Dr. Day completed his orthotics and prosthetics education at UT Southwestern Medical Center and his orthotic residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He then went on to the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for his prosthetic residency. He has been certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetic and Pedorthics.
Dr. Day completed his Ph.D in rehabiliation science in the spring of 2023 at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. His research initiative is focused on post-amputation healing and readiness for prosthetic treatment. Patient centered team rehabilitation yields optimal outcomes for patients requiring an amputation and prosthetic treatment.
Jonathan enjoys spending time outdoors playing sports, hunting and fishing with his family. He and his wife have two beautiful daughters who keep the family busy with extracurricular activities.
