About John Bell

John M. Bell, MD, is an ophthalmologist at OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute specializing in comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, and lens implant procedures. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain their best possible vision through personalized care and advanced surgical treatment options. He also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where he contributes to the education and training of future ophthalmologists.

Dr. Bell earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. 

Dr. Bell provides comprehensive eye care for adults and has a special interest in cataract surgery and lens implant technologies. He works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that support their vision goals, lifestyle needs, and long-term eye health.
