About Jeremy Johnson
Jeremy Johnson, M.D. is a fellowship-trained pediatric surgeon at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health and an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the OU College of Medicine. He has also served as the co-director of the General Surgery Clerkship since 2018 and enjoys teaching the next generation of medical doctors. Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from the OU College of Medicine where he also completed his residency and residency.
He is board certified in Pediatric Surgery, with a special interest in neonatal surgery, the ECMO procedure, pediatric trauma and pediatric oncology. Dr. Johnson enjoys leading the state’s only American College of Surgeons-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, serving as the pediatric trauma medical director.
Dr. Johnson is a native Oklahoman, growing up in Checotah, Oklahoma. He is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. When not working, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
