About Jason Cheng
Dr. Jason Cheng is a distinguished physician with extensive expertise in internal medicine and hepatology. He obtained his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin following a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Neurosciences from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Cheng completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital, followed by a Hepatology Fellowship at Huntington Medical Research Institutes. He holds professional licensure in medicine from multiple states including California, Nevada, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Cheng actively contributes to the medical community through his participation in organizations such as the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) National Liver Review Board and the Adult Hepatocellular Carcinoma Specialty Board, as well as multiple medical mission trips to China. His dedication and contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors including the National Academy of Science, Space and Technology Scholarship awarded by the United States Congress, as well as the Helen Drake Smetz Resident Award and Resident Research Award First Place at Huntington Hospital.
