About Danushka Seneviratne

Danushka Seneviratne, M.D., Ph.D., is a radiation oncologist at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. She provides radiation therapy for patients of all ages experiencing cancer diagnoses.

Dr. Seneviratne earned her doctorate of philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA and completed her doctorate of medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She went on to complete her residency training in Radiation Oncology at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Jacksonville, FL.

She is passionate about conducting research to evaluate the molecular basis for cancer outcome disparities as well as improving women’s cancer care by exploring alternative radiation therapy modalities.

    Great people implementing CT scan. Great people implementing the radiation treatment. Great patient support implementation by the Nurse. Doctor in charge gave concise and clarifying guidance information about the application of radiation therapy and took the to assuage any concerns I expressed to her.
