About Dan TD Nguyen

Dan TD Nguyen, M.D., is a board-certified neuroradiologist specializing in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology, with a particular focus on spine imaging and pain management. His clinical expertise encompasses minimally invasive procedures for spinal disorders, vertebral augmentation, and advanced neuroimaging techniques. He has held leadership roles in both private practice and academic medical centers, including serving as Chief of Interventional Neuroradiology.

Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Physiology from the University of California. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his internship in general surgery at UPMC Mercy Hospital & Medical Center. He pursued residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University of Illinois and completed fellowship training in neuroradiology at both the National Institutes of Health and Georgetown University Medical Center.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Nguyen has served as an Associate Professor in departments of Radiology and Neurosurgery, directed fellowship programs, and contributed to curriculum development for residency and medical student education. He is actively involved in professional societies, has held leadership positions such as President of the American Society of Spine Radiology, and regularly participates in national and international invited speaking engagements. Dr. Nguyen’s academic roles also include mentoring students and residents, serving on university committees, and contributing to research and peer-reviewed publications.
