About Chandler Hicks

Dr. Chandler Hicks, D.O., is a board certified psychiatrist at OU Health in Oklahoma City. He is experienced in academic, clinical and forensic roles and has delivered numerous local lectures and national presentations.

He earned his medical degree from Oklahoma State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Tulsa, Okla. Dr. Hicks then went on to complete his residency and two fellowships in Psychiatry, Child Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry, respectively, at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Hicks currently serves as the president of the Central Oklahoma Psychiatric Society, a local chapter for the Oklahoma Psychiatric Physicians Associations, as well as a delegate for the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law at American Medical Association conferences.

Dr. Hicks spends some of his free time volunteering and supporting the community by serving as a psychiatry trainer and mentor for nurse practitioners with the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing.
