About Angela Plant
Angela M. Plant, OD, FAAO, is an optometrist at OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute who provides comprehensive primary eye care for patients of all ages, from children to older adults. She is dedicated to helping patients maintain lifelong eye health through preventive care, routine eye examinations, contact lens services, and the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions.
Dr. Plant earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2003, demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, lifelong learning, and evidence-based patient care.
As a Clinical Instructor, Dr. Plant combines her passion for patient care with a commitment to educating future eye care professionals. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and helping individuals and families achieve their best possible vision throughout every stage of life.
Dr. Plant's clinical interests include comprehensive optometric care, pediatric eye care, contact lens services, and promoting overall eye health through personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
