The Oklahoma Dementia Care Network from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma City-County Health Department will be holding a Town Hall on June 16, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., in-person, to discuss brain health, resources to manage brain health, and Community Health Workers as Brain Health Resources in Latino/a Communities in OKC. We are looking for caregivers of aging parents and/or persons living with brain health issues.
If you are attending the Town Hall, you will be eligible to participate in a question and answer format that is part of a research study on brain health in underserved communities in Oklahoma. If you would not like to participate, you will still receive the same information and resources as those who participate in the study. The study is being led by Dr. Keith Kleszynski, Assistant Professor of Research in the Section of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center on behalf of OkDCN.
