Harold Hamm Diabetes Center Members Present at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions
Even though the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions was held virtually this year, three of our faculty members presented via Zoom. CHF Paul and Ann Milburn Chair in Pediatric Diabetes and Assistant Professor Dr. David Sparling presented an oral presentation on his abstract: MODY3 Diagnosis from Deidentified Pancreatic Tissue Leads to Variant Identification in Living Relatives during the Genetics and Functional Impact of Variants in Type 1 Diabetes session. Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Jeanie Tryggestad virtually presented a poster titled Impact of High-Fat Meal on Circulating microRNA in Youth with T1DM. Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center, Dr. Karen Jonscher also virtually presented a poster titled Early Life Dysbiosis in Offspring of Obese Mice Promotes Hepatic Macrophage Dysfunction.
