Fostering Hope of Tulsa

Every year almost 70,000 children spend time in foster care in the United States with over 9,000 of them living in Oklahoma. Children who enter foster care have a high rate of untreated medical problems, developmental delays and trauma behaviors. Fostering Hope of Tulsa was developed to help families navigate the medical care of these children who may have unrecognized or high risk needs.

Fostering Hope provides a trauma-informed medical home to children living in an out-of-home placement or with their biological family, who need continuity in health screenings, diagnoses and trauma-informed treatment.
