  Rude, made me feel stupid. I asked for help with my sons speech and she asked me how many words does he say- as if that was a realistic question to ask- and when I gave my answer- she looked at me like I was dumb and said my child should know at least 600 words by now. I explained the words he's saying aren't the true words because of his speech- it's almost as if he's speaking in dyslexia- she again looked at me like I was a complete idiot and said "that's when you read and write backwards" and I said yes- I know, but that's the only way to describe his speech. She then said I need to read to him and talk to him more and then questioned why she would recommend a speech therapist if school is trying and I said I want to do extra to help fix this and then she felt the need to tell me I have to pick one or the other because of insurance as if I can't pay out of pocket for additional help. I think she was mad I was late and felt the need to be rude to me and treat me like I was dumb to get over being mad I was late. Weird power trip move by the doctor.
