Sponsorship Intake Process

OU Health values strong partnerships with state-wide organizations and local community agencies that are purposeful, intentional and impactful.

Priority will be given to requests that align with our mission and/or our overall strategic plan as well as:

  • Promote health and wellness
  • Serve or support unmet community health needs
  • Enhance or encourage active healthy lifestyles
  • Provide civic and/or community development

OU Health is unable to support certain activities because they do not align with our guiding principles:

  • Local sports organizations, such as Little League
  • Requests that benefit an individual person or family
  • Religious activities for the purpose of furthering religious doctrine
  • Door prizes or raffles
  • General operating expenses
  • Political candidates or organizations

In addition to funding efforts, OU Health’s Live to Give partnership program includes a robust volunteer and board match program. We seek partners who can connect us to our focus areas through both philanthropy and volunteerism.

Because of our belief we have a responsibility to the community, we encourage our employees and students to become involved in outreach activities. These are programmed around three areas:

  1. On-going in conjunction with solidified partnerships as determined between OU Health and partner agency.
  2. Programmed outside of solidified partnerships and organized on a quarterly basis.
  3. As the need is presented. We recognize partner organizations may have needs arise throughout the year and OU Health has a desire to meet those needs if aligned with our strategic focus areas.
