About Brittany Poinson
Brittany Brand Poinson, M.D., M.S. Ed, is a child neurologist with specialized training in pediatric sports at Oklahoma Children's Hospital — the only type of this specialist in the state. She has a special interest in sports neurology, including concussions and headaches.
Dr. Poinson collaborates with the pediatric sports medicine team for the treatment of post-concussive symptoms. She has also been trained in administering Botox for migraines and occipital nerve blocks for occipital neuralgia.
Dr. Poinson earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Florida at Orlando Health in Orlando, FL.
